Dr. Jamison is board-certified in both Pain Management and Anesthesiology. He offers a full-range of pain management therapies to include minimally invasive surgical techniques and alternative therapies such as acupuncture.
Prior to joining Advanced Spine and Pain, Dr. Jamison was a Major in the US Army and was assigned to the Walter Reed Army Medical Center for nearly ten years. His positions there included being Director of the Pain Management Center and he also completed a combat tour in Iraq.
Dr. Jamison performed both his anesthesiology residency and pain managementfellowship at Walter Reed. He continues to hold a part-time position there and is also an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland. Dr. Jamison is active in research, has published articles, written book chapters, and is currently involved in several ongoing protocols as either a Principal or Associate Investigator.
He is a member of the International Spine Intervention Society (ISIS), the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (ASIPP), the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA), the Uniformed Services Society of Anesthesiologists (USSA) and the Special Operations Medical Association (SOMA).
